I have started approximately 4 different blogs and have struggled when it came to sharing them with the world. I mean, who am I to think that what I have to say is so spectacular that anyone else would want to read about it?
This thinking has kept me safe and private, out of the arena of worldwide sharing, and made me simply a blog stalker rather than active participant. This thinking has also kept me from connecting with other educators. This thinking is what I am going to change today.
It has been a long road to get to this point. I DO share what I do with my close set of coworkers and team members at my school. That is pretty safe. I WANTED to share my thoughts and thinking when I went on my Fund For Teachers trip and met wonderful educators such as Stephanie Harvey and Kristin Ziemke (In my mind all I could think of was, “How could I possibly compare?!?). What held me back was the fear that I really didn’t have anything earth shattering to share. I have finally decided that sharing this fear is something others need to hear so they can get passed it and begin to share and connect.
There. I have said it. I own it. Now let’s move forward!
Way to go, Michelle! I can’t wait to hear what you have to share. 😘
Thanks Kelly!
Thanks for taking the plunge…it will be great
Hello Michele,
Looking forward to reading your blog. Miss you, Kay
Thanks Kay! Make sure you stop by my room at AFE!
You are not alone. I felt the same way but one day got the courage to push publish. I am so glad you did too! Remember “everyone knows something you don’t”. So you have information others can benefit from. Thank you for sharing!
